Yoga is made up of 8 limbs or paths. During this series of yoga classes students will explore self-awareness through asana practice (physical poses) and the study of the Yamas which are “guidelines for shaping and improving the individual self.” P.11

We will begin to connect the yamas to the abuses suffered in the past or are currently suffering. The focus will be on domestic and/or sexual violence specifically depending on students in class.

Students are encouraged to drop in no experience is necessary

Coping with Grief & Loss

In this presentation, participants will learn about the elements of general grief versus complicated grief; symptoms of grief; coping and healing; and children and grief. In addition, these bereavement counselors will share information about the services of the Hospice of CNY Grief Center.
